EcoInventory: Building a Scope 1 and 2 GHG Inventory Reduction Plan

(7 Hours Live On-Line Format + Exam)

This course develops a basic understanding of GHG inventories and teaches students how to compile, manage, and utilize GHG inventory data for reporting and action. Often businesses use this course as a starting point and utilize individualized consulting services to help them through implementation.

Review key concepts from Eco-Aware and understanding the importance of GHG inventory for businesses and review definition of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.

Identifying sources of direct emissions, measuring and calculating Scope 1 emissions in your business.

Identifying sources of purchased or acquired energy consumed by the company in it’s direct operations.  Measuring and calculating Scope 2 emissions in your business.
